i need help. i have big feet (size 11 in heels) and i want to wear a kick *** heel. problem being my fh is 5ft5 and im 5ft7...we are thinking about getting him those shoes to make him taller....anyway, i cannot find cute heels in my size that can be dyed pool blue (to match BM dresses)...where should i look?

I know its likely a schlep (spelling?) but there is a place in Englewood, NJ (we recently moved to jersey city - ick) and they have a tremendous selection of bridal shoes and higher end dyeables! They died mine ivory for free. I work in NYC and I hit up all the standard places...my glass slipper, etc..and I was most impressed by Shoe Chic in NJ.

Hmmm...Englewood is in northern jersey and I believe freehold is central-ish? It is VERY close to the GWB. I am NO jersey expert...I have major LI/NY pride going!

I think I know what shop you are talking about. It's right in the town center in Englewood and I believe that it's called the Bride's Best Friend ( or something similar) Englewood is really easy to get to. It is about 5 minutes away from the George Washington Bridge.

One of my BMs is a size 12. She always gets sick shoes from zappos! they also have an awesome return policy - so its a non issue if they get delivered and arent what you hoped for. Good luck !

I am between an 11 and 12. I also wanted a heel. I went to Sandy's in Massapequa. They had a really nice selection of dyables in my size. I ended up with a hot 4 inch heel. They had tons to choose from and I was so surprised by how much selection they had in my size.

I vaguely remember someone posting over the summer that you can buy lifts to glue into your FH's shoes. The post caught my attention but I don't remember the details - sorry!

myglassslipper.com has a ton of beautiful bridal shoes that can be dyed in 12 different colors that they offer..they have 3 kinds of blue shades..check it out
