Bridal Shoes Help

I'm getting married in November - should I wear open toe or closed. I'm thinking open only because I really don't want to where stockings. Is that bad???

Also, I'll be in Long Island this weekend and I need to find shoes for my 1st fitting next week. Any idea where to find comfy ones? I'll be in the Wantagh area.

oh and one more thing - I'm wearing strapless what should I wear underneath (as far as a corset) did you just buy yours from the dress shop?

THANKS!!

Re: Bridal Shoes Help

I'm getting married in December and had the same dilemna. I usually wear open-toed shoes for dressy occasions, regardless of the time of year. But for my wedding, I wanted a certain look and I bought closed-toe shoes. It's really up to you. You can wear either.

I bought an OnGossamer corset from the Nordstroms. You can go to any lingerie store and tell them what you need. I think the salon will overcharge.

I'm the same date! I am doing open-toed, and I haven't decided on a corset yet (also strapless dress). So tight I don't know if I can fit anything under there!

If you want to wear open-toe shoes then go for it. I knew from the beginning the shoes I wanted to wear whether I got married in May or October. It's up to you. My dress has sleeves so I can't help you with the corset issue! Sorry but wear the shoes you want!
