I've been having the worst time finding bridal shoes. At first it was because I was very specific and didn't want open toed and wanted it to be lace. Gave up on that idea. Most of the nice ones were over $250 and I refuse to pay that much for shoes I'm pretty much guaranteed to wear once.
Now I'm considering other styles and fabrics but still am having the worst time finding the perfect shoe. My dress is all lace (Oleg Cassini crl 277). I don't want a strappy sandal and it seems that those are the most available. I also need a heel between 2.5-3 1/4 inches...can't walk in anything higher.
I don't want to order online because I really want to try the shoe on before purchasing it and don't want to deal with buying and returning over and over.
Can anyone recommend stores in Queens or Nassau that have a large selection of bridal shoes? I've been to Roosevelt Field (Macys, Nordstroms, Bloomies) and Manhasset (Macys and Lord and Taylor). I'm planning on going to Sandy's Shoes later today or tomorrow. Is there anything else in that area I can try...never been there before.
Appreciate any suggestions (except online...for now).
Thanks!!

Shoe Elegance on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook. That's where I got my shoes. They gave me, my mom, my MIL, and all of my BM's 10% off.

I tried the DSW on Old Country Road by Chateau Briand, but didn't like the selection. Is there another one I can try?
Those are all what I'm looking for! It just seems that online has better selections that in the actual store. I wonder which locations have the biggest shoe collection?
I guess if I can't find anything in the stores I'll have to suck it up and order online. I just can't imagine purchasing 3 or more shoes to try just to have to ship them back...and possibly repeat. Ugh.

Re: Bridal Shoes...about to pull my hair out
Thanks ladies! I just came back from Sandy's Shoes and purchased a pair from there. It was nice to go to a store that specialized in bridal shoes and accessories instead of departments stores and malls. Too bad all my other shopping attempts tired me out...maybe I would have tried the other bridal stores recommended if I weren't so friggin tired of looking at shoes!
Glad to have that checked off my list! Thanks again!
