Bridal shop review... LONG
Hey everyone! I'm not sure how many of you are still shopping for wedding gowns, but I went to a bunch of places and wanted to share my experiences...
Lillette's Baldwin - A - extremely nice and patient. I called to say I was running late and they were still very patient and nice to me when I came in. I did not find 'the' dress there though.
Wedding Plaza Floral Park - A+ - I almost got a gown here. Krystine was awesome and knew exactly what style I was looking for. We ended up getting our BM dresses here, even though I found my gown elsewhere.
Bridal Reflections, Massapequa - D - Laina helped me, but she didn't have a CLUE what I was looking for. After a few dresses, she was done with me and wouldn't show me any more dresses. My mom asked if she had anything with a 'V' shape in the front and she said 'No, we don't have any like that.' Then as we were leaving, there was a dress with that design hanging right out front! I was appalled!
Pronovias Flagship Store NYC - A - Very impressive! The woman who helped me was very patient and had great suggestions.
Kleinfeld NYC - A+++++ - I did not expect the service to be this wonderful! Camille helped me, but there were so many other people that kept jumping in to help me as well. I forget his name, but the thin guy who always wheres a tie grabbed me a dress that was totally different than what I had been trying.... and it was THE DRESS!!! I walked out and my mom started crying. It was an absolutely amazing experience.
Anyway, hope this helps some '09 brides! Those of you who only have to try on a few before you find the right one are soooo lucky. I tried on over 40!
