Something similar happened to me. I tried on the dress, liked it but they refused to tell me the dress number. I was not allowed to take pictures to remember how I looked in the dresses, but my cousin still took pics, she didn't care. They did tell me the designer, so I just looked it up online.

The same thing happend to me! My mom & MOH both live out of state. I just wanted to know the designer so that I could send them a picture...its hard having them so far away & I wanted their thumbs up before ordering. Needless to say, Paradise Bridal left a bad taste in my mouth. I did some investigative work, found & ordered the dress from another store based on principle. I recommend Fantasia or Angel Bridal.

I personally, would never shop at a store that wouldnt give me this info... Maybe these stores should lower their prices and people wouldnt have to shop around!

Um Paradise Bridal..this is where I ended up getting my dress but have an interesting story..& I looove Barbara my consultant..she's the best....but I had found one before the one I bought that I loved..

where's my tdiff on here?? I know you're around..I have to tell our story..haha

check this out..there were no tags..didnt really care but took a pic of it in the dressing room because they wouldnt tell me who it was..my mom & sis weren't thrilled with it & made me forget about it but when we went to a few more stores, & there it was this same dress again but with tags..cool! I really still liked it! So I wrote it all down & went home to stalk online..as i looked at the online pic it was a little familiar..sure enough it was Theresa's dress!!! (our fiance's are friends & we are going to eachothers weddings!!!) could you imagine if I didn't know & ordered it???! who would have thought out of all of the dresses in creation it would be the same!. The whole thing just could have been avoided had there been TAGS on it! haha...I ended up finding my real dress now that I loove & I love paradise I really do, but that really could have caused problems that could have really been avoided....

ahh they did this to me too well sort of...i wanted to know the style number of a bridesmaids dress i had one of my girls try on and they wouldn't tell me...i was like well i would like to know the number so i can tell my bridesmaid who lives in ohio to take a look at the pic of it on the designers website and they were like sorry that is our policy....they totally LOST the sale right then and there for making me mad that day...haha i was pms-ing and that just made me make the decision that if they weren't going to be polite and helpful, then they weren't worth my time and i haven't been back since

Anytime I have been there the tags were cut out and they just wouldnt budge... I think its shady. I was actually talking wedding talk to one of the ladies at work and she went here and had a HUGE problem because of this... they ordered the wrong BM dresses on her!! Thank fully they were somewhat similar... but still completely wrong dress, the sales lady was pissed and said something like if only there were tags This was a few years ago though... so hopefully things are a little more organized with their tagless dresses. lol

Its really sad... I also went there and i did fall in love with a dress. They told me the designer but not the style number and since i tryed so many on that day i couldnt tell for sure which dress it is when i look at pictures online. I prob wouldnt of questioned to much and just purchased but since it seemed like an issue i havent gone back. You cant take pic, and i wanted to show my fmil who lives out of state. I did like the lady who was helping me also, but the bottom line is, the dress must be much cheaper somewhere else. Personally im bummed cause i do love the dress and the lady was helpful, but we are paying for everything so it counts.

you are probably right about the finding it cheaper somewhere else..so once I was dead set on the dress I ordered, I called their bluff (before I ordered)..& told them another store which I won't name would give it to me cheaper even though they didn't once I did find out who the designer was & found the style # online... They definitely came down on the price after that!...So if they want you as a customer they will work with you

Hey Ladies! Just wanted to let you all know I found the dress after doing some research looking on other Bridal Shops websites. It's a Lazaro so at least it's not a knock off. Thanks for all the replies and good luck to everyone else with all you wedding planning!

This isnt the first time I heard something like this either!

When I went and tried on dresses for the first time too, they wouldnt let my mom or sister take any pictures! none and they were very mean about it. They got some in though

I can kind of see why these bridal places do it....its so you dont go elswhere for the dress. It stinks but whatchya gonna do?!
