So I was curious to know of what bridal shops you guys plan on going to to either buy your dress - or try on... because I have gone a few so far... but def want to make sure I try on as many dresses as possible before I make the big decision.
So far I have gone to David's Bridal, Angels Bridal (Islip), and tonight I am going to Macys to check out some Demetrios Dresses. I want to go to Adriennes in Islip, but they are booked for the next two weeks - and that is ultra discouraging because I want to try and have my decision made by then.
Any suggestions for a girl out in Suffolk?

I am on planning on going to Lillette's but they are located in Nassau. Lots of girls from this site have had great things to say about them.

I was originally going with a bridal shop in Larchmont but after being at Lillette's I am definitely going to be ordering with them.

'09er crashing.
Try Helen's Bridal in Commack. It's located within Wedding World on Austin Avenue.
The staff is great to work with; I've had nothing but great experiences everytime I've gone in there.
Ask to work with Liz or Ashley..they are awesome!

I went to fantasia in rocky point and loved them but they only had a few designers. I also went to village bridal in babylon and loved them!

make sure if you order from lillettes when it comes time for alterations..they do the bustle correct...my friend's bustle broke about 2 min into her reception...they put a button on it with a loop and the string on the loop broke..her dress was to heavy for the way they did it...so keep that in mind..other than that the sales woman was really helpful to her....

I am heading to Bridal Reflections in Massepequa [spelled so wrong LOL] on Nov 21st. I am hoping for a good experience. I read mixed reviews on here.

I did too! I love them there! I have been to a few, I'll FM you if you want & I just felt the most comfortable & not rushed at all at Paradise. I use Barbara as my consultant but they are all great there. That's why I decided to stick with them. They were the last place I went to & ended up ordering my dress from them. Also the other places I felt like the women were so snobby..yuck! haha

That is where I got my dress. Whatever you do ....don't go to Carmela's bridal garden....I had such a horrible experience and they are a rip off!
