Bridal shops to visit

Just curious. My mom and I planned to go and look for a wedding dress in 2 weeks. I need to make appts. and know what type of dresss I want but not sure where to go in Suffolk County. Has anyone went to David's Bridal, Fantasia Bridal, Always a Bride, etc. I have to make appts. and do not want to go where some of you have had bad experiences. Even Nassau County is okay. Thanks!

I got my dress from Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. You will find mixed reviews, but I've been very happy with them so far. I think it's worth a look if for no other reason than their selection.
I also looked at Bridal Suite of Centereach. They were very nice, and very helpful. Their sales people are great, but my BM's got their dresses there, and have had nothing but bad experiences with their alterations so far.

Dress shopping is great - have fun and good luck!

You could try Adrienne's in Islip -- you'll definitely need an appointment, though. Also, you could look at Macy's bridal salons -- there's one at the Smithhaven Mall.

I bought my dress at the Bridal Salon of Manhasset. So far their service has been great. Have fun!

Depends on what type of dress you want. I waited 2 weeks for an appt. at Adrienne's only to find that all the dresses were strapless for the most part, which I did not want. I got mine at the Commack Wedding Center after going all over, and found they had the largest selection and best prices. I have heard bad things about the alterations there, so I am having that done somewhere else, but it is a great place to look. Good luck!

I got mine at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. We even got the BM's dressed there too!

Re: Bridal shops to visit

I bought my gown, veil, bridesmaid gowns, jr. bridesmaids gowns and flower girl dress from David's Bridal in Carle Place.

David's always gets mixed reviews but I had a great experience.

David's has a fabulous selection of gowns and the prices are amazing.

You would definitely need an appointment - especially if you plan to go on a weekend.

Good luck!
