Did anyone go to any and then get a phone call saying your were a lucky winner of either 2 wedding bands or a hotel stay?
I just got a call but have no idea if any of this is legit. Any ideas?
Any other brides from the past or present get this as well?
TIA

Re: Bridal show contest question
I got a few calls like this. They started last weekend. I googled the number and it looks like it's a company that tries to sell you something in order to claim your 'free' prizes. I explained to the woman that I hadn't attended any bridal shows and asked how they got my number. She said that she wasn't sure. It sounded way too fishy. I think David's Bridal sells your information to companies like this. Have you ever visited David's?

Re: Bridal show contest question
no we went to a show this past monday and she said i filled out a piece of paper for a contest entry, I probably did. i don't think we're gonna go, it doesn't seem legit to me either.
She did give me a website and told me the company name she was calling from but my caller ID said Century 21, not the company she said.
Thanks.

Re: Bridal show contest question
That''s EXACTLY who called me!
There are a ton of posts about them on weddingbee and The Knot. Alot of the brides who actually went to the hotel for their 'free' prize were pitched things like cutlery etc. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. But I'm a skeptic...lol.

I got a similar call last week. Don't trust it for a second. I let them do their pitch and asked them to never call my phone again. So annoying!
