If you were a bridesmaid how much did you spend on the bridal shower including the gift and how many people did you split it with?

the wedding i was in last summer we had the shower at a restaurant- it was almost $200, and then about $50 for the gift, cause we all went in and bought her her pots and pans. for the wedding i'm in coming up in august- the shower was at her neighbors house, the neighbor paid for most of the food ( just light sandwiches and stuff), i did the favors and the cake so probably about $60 or so total for that- we didn't do a group gift, but again i spent about $50 on a gift for her ( might sound like a low amount, but remember i live in south jersey, so we do it a little bit different down here )

I was my sister's maid of honor, and I think between me and my aunt, we each spent 1000 on the shower and 200 on the gift.

I spent $100 on a gift and $150 on tips and decorations (her mom paid for the shower and the four of us split the cost of tips/decorations).

I know for my shower the girls were asked to put in $150 each and then I think they put in $50 for the gift. My friends shower was this past weekend and it was at her aunts house, so we didn't have to pay for that, but we all chipped in $150 for her gifts.

I feel bad now. My mom is paying for my shower and doesn't have a ton of $$ and not one bridesmaid with the exception of my MOH volunteered to help her. I think they were all eventually asked but most had excuses for being broke. Ugh. Even $50 bucks each would have helped my mom out...

I paid about $100 for the gift and $200 for the shower. There were 4 of us that split the shower cost!

My sister's BM's didnt' chip in. My mom and I spent $1800 or so on the shower and we had the girls chip in for luggage and candelsticks. it was about %160 pp
