Bridal Shower

My maid of honor asked my mom to do the bridal shower and I was going to help her do some stuff. It was supposed to be a surprise, but my MOH says that she has too much to do. Anyway, I am helping my mom with the invites and I wanted to put a cute poem in them...here is what I have


Shannon is about to become a Madore, (FH last name)
and to show her just how much we adore,
before she takes this great big hike,
to walk down the aisle to marry Mike,
let's celebrate her at this hour,
we're throwing her a bridal shower!

Im not sure I like it though. Any other suggesstions would be great. Thanks!
