bridal shower

Hi:

I am not much of a poster but I needed some help. My BMs suck and I am planning my own bridal shower. I have never done one before and I don’t know what I need to buy or get for the party itself.

Can any of you girls please give me some ideas and stuff?

i dont have sisters and my mom is helping me but she is wasnt born here and doesnt really know the custom.

well, you will need:
1. a location
2. invitations
3. a cake (if it's not included in the menu)
4. a wishing well, or something to use as a wishing well (hamper, laundry basket, cooler)
5. maybe some games (registry bingo is a common one)
6. something for the tables, maybe confetti sprinkled, or balloons, or candles, or flowers
7. favors

I think that's it....don't forget for yourself to have a notebook so that someone can write down who gave what for the thank you cards...also, it's nice to pass around an address book, gives you a head start on getting your FH family's addresses for the thank you's.....
It stinks that you have to plan your own shower, are you sure that they aren't planning a surprise one for you?

I can work off the checklist. I already have in mind whtat my favors are and I did find a place, invites and a confetti ( but I just started looking yesterday).

I think it will work out ok. Hey at least I know that it will be done right. LOL
