anyone on a quest to figure out when their surprise bridal shower will be? i know i am... mostly b/c i get totally overwhelmed when i'm a center of attention and/or at big gatherings in general... not even knowing when it will spring up on me is VERY anxiety producing...lol!

I found out when mine is....I'm Mom called my FH's phone and he had it on speaker.. SO I heard everything.... I would have snooped to find out anyway!!!

well I was thinking that it would be in April cause that is when my parents are comming down..but I was just invited to a suprise party????? soooo we shall see who the superise is realy for

I hate surprise parties for me. I didn't try finding out when mine would be.. but my 14 year old brother doesn't know how to keep his big mouth shut. He didn't notice he gave me a huge hint to when it will be.
Shower will be 4/1. I'll also be attending Pre-Cana that weekend. Now I know to get prepped up before Pre-Cana!

Well.. I am figuring it will be soon.. I wasn't going to have one since I would prefer to do a girls weekend away, but those plans fell through because both my sister (MOH) and my FSIL (BM) got new jobs and have to save their vacations for the wedding week..
ETA: FH's work 'wedding shower' is April 21, what to wear??? I am worried since this is the first time I will be meeting most of his co-workers and his boss..

only a few things have been bought off my registries and I haven't heard anything of you wanna do this this day or getting an invite to a party. I'm starting to worry
My wedding is only 60 days away and I'm reading of June brides having their showers already.
If I were to snoop, how could I go about it

even though i knew i was having one, i questioned it when nothing was coming off my registry... so, don't assume that means anything... maybe it's just much closer to your wedding than you thought... keep checking ;)

I don't officially know when mine is, but things are coming off the registry everyday. And a friend of ours that lives upstate mentioned the other day that she would be on LI April 1st...which is her bday - and when she said the date, I said, oh that's your birthday - and then she kind of told me a long story about why she was going to be there. I have a sneaking suspicion that's the day. I'm trying not to snoop - but I'm dying to know! I hate being the center of attention, at least I can prepare myself if I know ahead of time.

I am sure you are having one dont snoop then you will realy be suprised and you will be sooooooooooo happy :):) may be FH will say on day let go here for lunch or dinner and that will be it

I have been sooooooo good, reisting the temptation to snoop at every corner (mostly b/c I'm just such a bad liar, I wouldn't be able to act surprised). But now, I'm talking to my dad about my mom's birthday party on April 9 and he goes 'well wait, I thought it was the 2nd. then what's the second?' And I'm like, 'uh, your birthday party? or not....' He laughed and completely changed the subject. Dads! If my mom found out he did that, she'd be devastated! Also, now when are we celebrating my dad's birthday? It's his 65th. Is he giving it up for my shower? I'll feel so bad :(
