Re: Bridal Shower
I think it would depend on where most of my guests were coming from. I have a lot of friends who don't have cars and live in Manhattan so I would choose a place in Queens.
Well I meant to name some places ... I need to help plan a bridal shower and I need some suggestions in queens or begining of nassau

The place i would love to have it at is Waterfront crabhouse in LIC Queens. The food is amazing there, they have a party room that accomodates 50-200 ppl. Here is their site, i gave the link that will direct you to their catering menu for parties
oh wait this is the place i would like for RD bc its where FH asked me out so would be nice if he is there too lol, but thats the only reason i would want my bridal shower somewhere else only bc i'd want it for RD
Other places in Queens:

Cavo-Astoria
Ammos-Astoria

Re: Bridal Shower
Can't really name to many bridal shower type places in queens off the top of my head (Brooklyn gal here).. my girlfriends shower was at villa russo.. very nice.. but some people have a whole wedding there..lol. There is a wonderful place where i'm having my EParty and i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fully catered event at a low affordable cost. It's called Cozy Royale Catering .. it;s in williamsburg, BK ..not far from queens though.. like 2 blocks from metropolitan ave. The place is reallly pretty, beautiful chandelier, great colors, very warm feeling.. full working bar in the front. not far from the party room ( a few feet) but far enough that it doesnt take away from the room, EXCELLENT food, holds about 100 people, but 80 if you want dancing.. she even has an in house DJ that is good and very inexpensive. Her prices are per head, but for what you get and the prices she has.. it's really amazing!!!! She has a great bridal shower menu that i can scan and send if you are interested! Sorry i couldn't give ya more help in other areas.. but i'll keep my eyes open~
