Ok so my wedding is May 17 and the shower is scheduled for April 19 (my Mom booked it),,,,I'm really kindof p'od b/c I told my mom ahead of time that ANY Saturday is fine EXcept Passover and she books it on....you guessed it! One of my bm's is Jewish and I think that's Passover correct? InI know she can't attend if its Passover, and I absolutely want her too!. So I feel bad b/c my Mom has a lot going on and if I mention any thing I think she'll blow up on how much she's done...ect...but I also think that its too close to the wedding. I may be wrong but I want to have enough time to send out Thank you's and ect.... I hope I don't sound ungrateful or anything its just the timing I'm worried about!

i think you should tell her now that way she has plenty of time to change it. Right now its about 3 months away. You should tell her since its important to you that your BM comes.

I can understand exactly how you feel. I'm Jewish and I initially booked April 19th ( yes it is Passover). Did I hear it from the family. Oops!
Tell your mother nicely about your bm and see if she can change it. Passover starts on 4-19 and ends 4/27. I am getting married on 5-17 as well and I do agree that the bridal shower should be earlier. I would prefer March, but my moh ( my sister) told me that she doesn't care what I want and just deal with it

i am in a similar situation. Our Easter is messing everything up for the bridal shower.....so i am having mine 3/9 when my wedding date is 8/24
i think you should say something now instead of waiting
