Bridal Shower

I really wanted to be suprised but I couldn't handle it, I was so excited that I snooped in my sisters room and found the inviatations (they were so cute btw).

Now I know when and where

I'm not a surprise person either...plus I just don't get it cause you know you are going to have a shower. So how much of a surprise can it really be? Like if someone throws you a surprise b day party then it's a surprise cause no one had to through you a b day party....but someone is definitely going to throw you a shower....just my opinion..i know most showers are surprises

I travel a lot for work so I needed to know the date. Besides 3 of my BMs live OOT so I would know when they would come to NY

i think most of the guests get a kick out of surprising the bride and love to see the bride when she first walks in - i know for a fact a lot of the people who will be at my shower would be disappointed if i knew about it - it would take some of the fun away from it all....

i def want to be surprised! the more unprepared i am i think the more fun id have! our aunts are nuts and would LOVE it if i showed up in sweatpants or something

i want to be involved but my mom said NO. She is going to surprise me no matter the cost haha. I hate surprises I am a nosey person and like to be involved. And now that my mom is doing a great job of hiding it, it just might be a surprise.

But I have a feeling that I know the date she is booking or booked. Because I hvae alot going on so I gave her 2 different weekends she could do it.

But the one thing I am upset about is that FH wont be home to bring me to the shower and be involved in it and checking out all the gifts afterwards

Wow, your mom booked already? Maybe I just don't have a clue, but I don't even think my mom has thought about my shower yet and my wedding is the day before yours. Maybe I should give her my registry cards now??? And, um, REGISTER???

Wow, your mom booked already? Maybe I just don't have a clue, but I don't even think my mom has thought about my shower yet and my wedding is the day before yours. Maybe I should give her my registry cards now??? And, um, REGISTER???

We are ahead of the game, I registered already and my mom is planning on having my shower in the summer so it really isnt too far away.

Funny story I was talking to my friends mom the other day and she was saying that her oldest daughter used to work for a party company, one of those companies that provides the characters for kids parties. So anyway they booked her daughter to show up at a party as Cinderella but she was actually showing up to her shower Talk about not being prepared, she was dressed up as Cinderella, I would have died.

I dont like surprises either (well sometimes, but I was always the kid who peaked at my christmas gifts, etc).

Anyway, I am also a total control freak and my sister lives out of town so we kind of all planned it together and I helped to pick the place. I have not seen it in person but I checked the website and menu and it has my full approval. I also picked one of the games we are playing (because I found it and used it for another friends shower and it was a HIT) and I kind of want say over what the favors will be! I guess I am being alittle bridezilla-ee but oh well! HAHA LOL!

PS - I think most girls usually find out about their showers anyway!!!!!
