Re: Bridal shower
Personally, I think you can overdress for your own bridal shower even if it's a backyard type thing. I always overdress at Christmas at my mom's every year!! I LOVE super girly, poufy Betsey Johnson dresses, and I would wear one to my shower if it was a backyard deal. Wear what you like!!! Don't feel like you need to wear a cotton sundress just because it's a backyard shower.

Re: Bridal shower
Okay so Im thinking of #2 for maybe the RD... Now how do you guys feel about this one for the backyard bridal shower?
I like both of them for the shower... If you are going to feel self conscious all dressed up then I say go with the pink one.. Otherwise, I really liked the polka dot dress!

Re: Bridal shower
I like the original number 2 more for a RD. Of the first one and the forever 21 option, I like the first one better. I had virtually the same dress (and still do ) from my HS graduation, only mine was completely strapless and the tulle underneath was black and the sash was fuchsia, and I had an outdoor party afterwards, and it was completely appropriate. The pink one is cute too, but I think the polka dots are just a bit more special occasion.

Re: Bridal shower
I am not a polka dot person but I love the first dress. I see that A LOT of people love the second one but (don't fault me for this) IMO it has a very costume-like appearance. It's pretty, but a little trashy - sorry! That's just my opinion.

Re: Bridal shower
I would go with #1 for the backyard bridal shower since it's in a casual setting. If it was for an elegant setting such as a catering hall or loft then def #2.
