Hey ladies. A couple of weeks back, my Mother tells me that she wants to throw me a bridal shower. For those of you that had a bridal shower, did you have a theme? What did you do? Who planned it for you? Did you have lunch/dinner? Where was it?
I have no idea about these things, I've never been to one, and my married sisters didn't have one either, so I have nothing to go off of. All of your advice and thoughts will be greatly appreciated!!!

i told my mom i want everything PINK! its going to be a surprise but i try to help out and give them ideas here and there so they dont have to ask me and make it obvious

my shower was a big surprise. my mom & sister planned everything for it. they had it on a Saturday night (dinner), they also had music & a photographer. the theme was pocketbooks because i love pocketbooks. they had it at a restaurant in Brooklyn, Mamma Raos. it was absolutely amazing

we are having a beach themed wedding so my mom kept that theme with the shower. many showers are brunch...mine is not cause i am not a brunch person. it can be anything you want... no rules!

Usually showers are held on Sunday early afternoons at a hall or nice restaraunt that has a private room for a brunch type thing. You can definitely make it fun and have a specific theme! Usually it's the MOB and MOH that plan the showers and they also set up fun things to do such as playing certain types of games so that it's not just everyone watching you open up presents the entire time! HTH.
