Was just curious to see how many of you already know the date of your bridal shower or do you want to be surprised? I guess my biggest fear is that I'll walk into my shower wearing sweats because I had no clue of the date

My shower is not a surprise I know the date. That is all I know that way I can do my hair and get my makeup done for my shower.

Mine is supposed to be a surprise but I'm slowly finding out more and more details thanks to FH lol He slips and then goes 'uhhh oops.' Like the other night at dinner it came up and I said it's pretty hard to surprise someone for their bridal shower because they know it's coming so when they get invited somewhere or are taken out close to the shower they have a pretty good idea and he goes 'well we'll just have to take you out every weekend in June to throw you off' then he realized what he said and he goes 'uh or May or July'

Mine is this Saturday. Originally it was supposed to be on the 13th and then the b-party afterwards so we can have all of the OOT who are flying in for the week come to the shower, but my mom and MOH decided they wanted to do it seperately. It just hit me my shower is in 2 days!!!

I am hoping to be surprised! I feel like somehow the bride always finds out. I am giving my mom a dress and shoes to bring to the shower, so I can change - just incase I am wearing sweats.

I know when and where mine is because they planned it around my fmil who lives in FL. I have no idea about the details though, at least that part is a surprise. I tried to find out by offering to address the envelopes but that didnt help..lol

I know when mine is and I'm helping my mom plan it! This is actually the norm where I'm from in PA. I had never even heard of a surprise bridal shower until I moved to NY!

i know... but not because i wanted to know... my neice made a booboo and spilled it to my little cousin on FB.... it wasnt her fault... but i didnt necessarily want to be surprised so it didnt bother me to find out... i have no involvement in planning it so a lot of it will be a surprise

mine is a completel surprise (which is killing me) but I have threatened my mom, entire BP, and FH that I will walk out if I show up looking horrible. To which my mom replied she would never do such a thing. So for me, giving my outfit to someone ahead of time is out of the question. I am hoping they tell me the event is for something else, and I am all dressed up.
