im sorry if anyone is quilty of this, but maybe yours wasnt like this... ok so my friend has kids (like small kids) at her bridal shower.. sooooo annoying! first off, they won all the games becasue the adults let them... but i picked out grownup gifts obviously for prizes! next, they all opened her presents, so we couldnt write down and show each gift cuz they teared them apart and they stood up in front of her (got no pics!) thennnnn she opened up our bridal party gift with was lingerie and her aunts like 'ok, kids are around veru cute, put it away!' ***!!!!!!!! i shouldnt have to feel bad about getting my friend an adult gift for an adult occassion!!!!!!! ahhhh I VOTE NO KIDS AT SHOWERS!

I respectfully disagree. I had kids at my shower and it was great. My little flower girls were very well behaved though they did insist on sitting on the 'stage' with me where I opened my gifts. One baby did win a game but it was a group game and the prizes went to the adults in her 'team'. Again she was perfectly behaved- she actually slept for most of it. Also, I wasn't embarassed to show the lingerie I got. When the girls asked what it was I said it was an undergarment. No other explanation was needed. They thought it was really pretty.
I think it's the parents who are to blame for their kids acting out. And it's a personal choice as to whether to have kids at your own shower or not. I'm so glad they were at mine though!'
