how soon do invitations need to go out? and what should rsvp date be? i'm thinking to have it either 9/19 or 9/26

I planned mine too and my invitations went out about 5 weeks before the shower. We had a pretty high rate of acceptance.

Mine is Sunday and the RSVP date was the 14th I believe....they went out a month before.
my MOH got them at michaels and printed them at home. I made the address labels.

Send the invites out ASAP. Have the RSVP a couple of weeks before - depending on where you're having the shower and when you need to know the final number.
