It depends on when your shower will take place - will it be on a holiday weekend? Will others be booked. Our shower invites went out over a month before only because we felt we wanted people to save the date. lol

my mom sent mine 4 weeks in advance. it was at a restaurant!

mine are going out this week and it's about 6 weeks before my shower.

I would think 6 weeks is good, and then have the rsvp 2 weeks before

I think anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks is good. I would go more with 6 weeks to give your guests time to RSVP and shop.
