Ok so I know my bridal party and mom are planning the bridal shower, but what I don't know is if I want to know about it or be surprised? I hate and love surprises. I want to be ready for it and look good that day, but I also want to be surprised. I am torn. What are you all doing/did?

My shower is not a surprise. I like to know everything lol and make sure everything is running smooth :) I'm only letting my bachlorette party be a surprise loll

My shower is a surprise and my invites went out these weekend and the suspense is killing me LOL but I still want a surprise but my bachlor party is not a surprise

No way could I handle the surprise of a shower. I've planned everything with my mom, the only surprise will be how it all gets executed. I've also talked with my girls about the bachlorette party (wants and don't wants), so that will be a 'surprise' for the day, just not what we do. I'm way to controlling to leave these things out of my hands

Mine is supposed to be a surprise but I hate surprises. I'll find out one way or another...I have to be dressed and look good that day :)

Mine is a surprise but I have some inklings as to when it is. My bachelorette party, aside from the location, is a surprise and I don't know what we are doing. Strangely, I am less anxious about going away for a weekend with the ladies and not know anything than to not know about my shower.

I can see the good in both.
I wanted to help plan so that I could do some special touches for my guest. I love to entertain. Kinda freaks me out I am not helping.
My mom however is the same way so she enjoys taking full responsibility and wants it to be a surprise. Since I am always planning something for someone else, and I am in the midst of planning for the wedding it will be nice to have something 'thrown' for me :)
Its a win win :)

I feel the same way! I have no idea whether I want to know or not. I'm kind of a control freak and I want to make sure that the party is pulled off the way I want it, but I also kind of want to keep it a secret. Gah I don't know!

I hate having no control over my shower but my family and bridal party want it to be a surprise... I bought a dress to wear and gave it to my future sister in law to bring to my shower whenever it is... At least I can control what I wear lol
