Bridal Shower @ the Inn @ NHP
Sunday was my Bridal Shower @ the Inn at New Hyde Park. For the girls getting married there all I can say is you have nothing the worry about. The food was great and the service was the best. Carlos the Maitre D' was fabulous.
My mom and sisters whom planned the whole party worked with Jeanine who went above and beyond to help make my day special. We had a champagne punch and a Cosmo Bar which added a nice touch to a Sunday afternoon. The Inn has a cocktail room upstairs with a very large foyer, my mom had the brilliant idea to have the party in the foyer because she loved the open feeling, the large windows and the view overlooking the gardens. The centerpieces she made were ceramic vases with beautiful flowered plants. It gave the room an outdoor garden feel. I have to say I was surprised I thought I was going to my friends baby Christening, the nicest part was the fact that I did not know about it and never got involved with the planning. (one less stress in my life). I had registered at Macy's and all my guests told me they had no problems with them. I got almost everything that was on the registry which to me is amazing. My mom claims the sales in the home goods department were fantastic all through the spring season. My sister told me that she had so much fun picking things up at 'Michaels' the best craft store on LI. My favors were from a site called my Italian wedding favors and they were perfect. One thing my mom did which I had never seen before was a raffle table for the guests, the ladies loved it. Some of them went home with some great gifts. It was a beautiful day and I can't believe it went so fast.
