Bridal Shower Etiquette

Okay girls, I need some help with bridal shower etiquette.

MOH is asking for my list of people to invite, and I am basing it on my wedding invitations list.

Am I supposed to invite everyone (female) on the wedding invitation list? Or just close friends and family? The reason I'm asking is because there are some women on the guest list that I don't even know. Thanks in advance.

I gave my mom a list of just the people that know me. Like my guy friend's wife that I only saw 3 times I did not put on the list)

i put my close friends and family, none of FH's friends wives/girlfriends, and then i gave my sister, my FMIL's phone number to get her list.
