Bridal Shower favors...

Whats the average price to spend on them?

Am I nuts for thinking $4 is a lot? (not including wrapping: tulle & ribbon) Especially when there's almost 80 people invited?

Since we're having it at a chinese restaurant, I stumbled upon these:
Oriental Soaps for $1.50

or

should we 'attempt' to make personalized fortune cookies and put them in takeout boxes:

You are not nuts $4. is alot to spend on Bridal Shower favors!! I think the 1.50 soaps are adorable and I love the way they are packaged already. I wouldn't even put them in boxes!

I think the soaps are great since they go perfect with your theme and they are affordable too.

Is it family style or everyone gets to choose what they want? I went to a shower at Jani that was family style and I didn't like that.

I LOVE the soap idea. Do they come wrapped? If so, even better!
We got those personalized candles for my friend's shower last year and they were pretty pricey, considering we needed 100!
