My sister loves games, so we want to have a few at her shower. I have seen the bingo and wedding scramble. Any showers you have been to that you though the game was really fun?

Re: Bridal Shower games
At my shower, one of the games was an on going game throughout the shower.
My sister gave everyone a plastic wedding ring (I thinks he got them in a party store), and told everyone there was a list of forbidden words, for example:
wife, husband, wedding, love, etc.... (wedding related words).
If you got caught by someone having a conversation and saying one of the forbidden words, you had to hand over your ring to the person that caught you. At the end of the shower, the person with the most rings won a prize. It was cute because you forget that there is this list of forbidden words that are pretty common in a covnersation at a bridal shower.

Re: Bridal Shower games
When I had my shower my mom & sister created a bridal shower booklet. If you would like a copy of it, let me know.

Re: Bridal Shower games
My cousin had 'the newlywed game' at her shower. Her MOH (her sister) thought up questions to ask my cousin's FH and filmed his answers. She also thought of questions she'd ask her sister and filmed what FH thought she would say... Then played that version of 'the newlywed game' at the shower.
It was very cute!
They also passed around an address book for everyone to fill in their information!

Re: Bridal Shower games
I love this game:
Every woman brings a purse, so this is fun.
There is a point sheet you can get off line for this. Every thing in a woman's purse has a value of points associated to it.Ex. each credit card you have is worth 5 points, if you have a condom in your purse, it's worth 50 points, if you have anail file, it's worth 10 points, each coin is worth their denomination, including bills, etc. The person with the most points wins the prize.

Re: Bridal Shower games
we made 2 teams and gave each team a few ... streamers [one used for bdays etc to decorate room] ...out of those streamers they had to make a wedding dress on a member selected from their team.... bride chooses best dress, that teams wins...
ofcourse this had to be done in like a 5 min time constraint...it was actually fun to see...what the teams did..some made a hula skirt on her... etc

Re: Bridal Shower games
These are a lil silly but sound like fun
1. In advance ask FH questions and write down the answers. At the shower you ask the bride questions about her FH if she gets them wrong she has to put a piece of bubblicious in her mouth for every wrong answer.
2. You can do this if there will be other future brides at the shower: Have each future bride stand up with a team - they are given 1 roll of toilet paper. They must make a dress and a veil in a certain amount of time, then you have a fashion show to see which dress the actual bride lieks best.

Re: Bridal Shower games
At my shower we had a toilet paper dress contest. Each table got a bag with rolls of toilet paper and tape. One person from each table was the model and all the others were designing the dress. Everyone had about 5-10 minutes to make the dress and then I got to choose the winning dress. The winning table got a basket of goodies. It may sound cheesy but it was so much fun. Everyone from the older to the younger women loved it.

I've seen this game done at a few bridal showers and it's always a big hit. It's amazing what people come up with.

Re: Bridal Shower games
i have a real simple game! Get an egg timer and set it in 8 minute or 10 min. intervals and when the egg timer goes off, the person whose gift the bride is unwrapping gets the prize.
We did scratch off tickets as our prizes. We put them in cute envelopes and there you go! A prize that the winner can actually enjoy!

That is what we did as well. It helps people pay attention a little more
This website has lots of ideas. You can pay I think $18 and get all the game sent to you to print out, it's like 60 diff games, and a couple checklists and stuff. I did it, I printed two of each game out, that way if any of my friends wanted one in the future, I can just give them a copy two copy
You might get some more ideas anyway

Re: Bridal Shower games
PURSE POWER!!
Kind of like on of the games listed above-- everyone puts their pocket book on the table & the BP announces random items: ie nail clipper, silver dollar, needle & thread & the first person to grab the item out of their bag (no dumbing bags out) and hold it up gets a prize!
This was the most fun at my friends shower because they did it at her bridal shower- then at both of her sisters showers & by the time my friends baby shower came around it was a tradition & people were packing ther pocket books for purse power!! I found myself walking through the house throwing in batteries, shower caps, yo-yos!! It would be a lot of fun to do it at your Bridal shower & then at your baby shower!!
