Re: Bridal Shower Games
You pin or tape the name of a different famous person to the back of each guest. Each guest has to guess the name of their character by asking the others questions to which the answer must be 'Yes' or 'No'. For instance 'Am I female?' It helps to maintain the theme if the famous character has something to do with that theme; However this is not essential and in fact it can be great fun if one or two of the characters have nothing at all to do with the theme.
The hostess gives each of the guests a clothes pin to attach to their clothing. Then the guests are told that there are three words which you have previously chosen, which they must not say. These words could be the words, 'bride', 'groom', 'wedding', or any other words which you may decide on and which they are likely to say at a bridal shower party. If a guest says one of these forbidden words another guest who hears them can demand to receive their clothes pin. At the end of the game, which can last throughout the party, the person with the most pins is the winner.
A variation of the game is where the guests are told that they must not cross their legs or ankles. If they do this then they can be penalized by another guest, who spots them, who can then claim their clothes pin. Again the person with the most pins at the end of the game wins.

Re: Bridal Shower Games
To play this shower game you will need two large bowls, one of which should be filled with white cotton balls plus a large kitchen spoon and a cloth to use as a blindfold.
Each guest in turn competes in this game. Blindfold the guest and give one minute to transfer as many cotton balls from one bowl to the other just using the kitchen spoon.
Make a note of how many of the cotton balls each guest can transfer in exactly one minute. The guest who transfers the most cotton balls is the winner.
Due to the fact that the spoon is quite heavy and the cotton balls are quite light it is very difficult for the guests to tell whilst blindfolded whether they have anything in the spoon, consequently they will spend most of their time transferring an empty spoon.
This is a very amusing game for the other shower guests to watch.

Re: Bridal Shower Games
Last one :)
Memory Game
Prior to the shower guests arrival, pin as many newly purchased kitchen/cooking utensils/gadgets (ie: measuring spoons, can opener, small spatula, potato peeler, garlic press)that will fit onto an apron (with bib or vest, front & back. Have the bride don the vest or apron (with bib) and let the guests view it for 2-3min's. Have the bride remove the vest/apron &/or retreat to another location. Give the guests a pencil/pen & paper & the person who recalls the most items/correctly wins!! The newly purchased items on the vest/apron then become a gift to the bride!

Re: Bridal Shower Games
OK OK .. THIS IS THE LAST AND VERY CUTE & FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!
Truth and 'tare'
After you have the attention of the guests, you show them a role of toilet paper, and walk around to each person and have them be truthful and tear off the amount of paper they use during one bathroom visit. The ladies at this point get shy so everyone takes a different amount as all eyes watch! After each person has a wad of paper, tell them all to be making anything out of the paper that has anything to do with a wedding, the best finished product wins a gift!
Everyone can be making something as the 'Bride to be' is opening her gifts.
