bridal shower games

i've only ever been to one bridal shower in my life so i have no idea what 'the deal' for them is.

what are some of the bridal shower games that people play?

I requested no games, but they still did a few, and they were ones that weren't obnoxious.

While I was changing there was a 'what's in your purse' scavenger hunt, and each item was worth a point value. The person with the most amount of points got a prize, and the person with the least amount of points got one.

They did bridal bingo while I was opening presents.

Then they did a 'how well does laura know michael' quiz. They asked FH questions the night before and had him answer them. Then I had to answer how I thought he'd answer. The guests had to guess how many questions I'd get right. The one who was the closest one.

we did bingo and had about 3 ppl who got bingo get presents,

then after that, we set a timer for every 7 minutes, and whoever's gift i was opening when the timer went off got a present

What do you do with the game what's in your purse? Do we have a list of items and read it off? Does anyone have a list?

I'm planning my BFFs bridal shower and thinking of bridal bingo, toilet paper dress, the what's in your purse sounds interesting!

Bridal Bingo

Special Couple Trivia - list of Qs that your BP asked FH to answer. You have to try to answer the way he did. For every quetsion wrong, you have to chew a piece of Hubba Bubba. It can be funny.

The Apron game - Your BP pins a bunch of kitchen gadgets (like 20) to an apron, you walk to each table for 30 secs to show them, cover up and walk away. Who ever answers the most # of gadgets on your apron correctly, wins a gift.

I just did one this weekend...I had:

wedding word scramble

who knows the bride best (I had questions about her and her fiance)

and like sentence completions for the kitchen
ex: sweetbreads are: a cows pancreas, a cows brain, a cows testicles

Growing up with the bride:
8 pictures of the bride at different ages, from 1yr-mid 20's, and ppl have to place them in age order

Toilet paper dresses was fun

If you're opening presents, set a timer to go off every 4 minutes, when that timer goes off, who ever's present the bride is opening gets a small prize

Bride's Pocketbook: list like 20 items that you may or may not find in someone's purse (matchbook, picture of the bride, tweezers) and do this according to table. Each item is worth a certain number of points. The table with the most points wins a bunch of small prizes.
