My girlfriend's shower is at the end of the month and I need your help girls!!!!!!
She HATES bridal shower bingo during the opening of the gifts. Are there any other games to play during this time to keep the guests busy and involved?????

u know i hated it too but during my shower it didnt bother me- guess cuz i didnt have to play- LOL. I dotn have any other suggestions for during but was going to suggest Toilet Paper Bride game-- i had neve rseen it but they did it at my shower- it was hysterical! Let me know if you want details

My mom made a whole booklet for my shower. In it was questions about me and FI, Bridal Bingo, unscramble wedding words and match different wedding and marriage sayings.

What is the Toilet Paper Bride game?
I've heard of a game where you give prizes to the first person to pull out an item from their purse...you call out somethng unusual...kind of like the old game show 'Let's Make a Deal!'

I only played Bingo at one shower & I loved it!
The other thing they did at this particular shower was a thing with clothespins - everyone got one and everytime someone else said wedding or bride or marriage (maybe other words too) you could take their pin. The person with the most pins would win a prize.
I've never done the TP thing but I don't think I would like that.

my sister (MOH) asked me & my FI separately to write the 'story of us'...i didn't know he did it & vice versa....then she whited out words and went around to guests during the shower & asked for nouns, verbs, places, etc...and read them out loud, mad libs style...it was HYSTERICAL!!!
also i've been to showers where the BP previously had asked the groom a lot of questions about himself & their relationship, and then at the shower they put the bride on the spot...'what is your FI's favorite movie?' etc. that gets pretty funny too!

You c ould weigh everyone's pocketbook. The one that's the heavist wins. Or you could do questions about the bride....the one with most of the right answers wins.

For my cousins shower I made little paper umbrellas. I asked that all the guests write some advice down and then I bundled them up like a bouquet and gave them to her at the end. She still has them and arranged them in a small vase on her dresser.

For my FSIL's shower we also did the Bridal Shower Mad Libs and we also did the Toilet Paper Bride Game and Bingo.
For the Toilet Paper game we split everyone up into teams. We gave each team 3 rolls of TP and 20 minutes to creat a bridal gown on one of their members. We took pictures of the bride with each contestant and then she chose a winner. We made a big basket of neat things for the winner (notepads, candles, wine charms, etc.) it was a big hit!!
For the mad libs we wrote a story and left blanks and put in #'s . We put a piece of paper on everyone's plate with a Number and the word NOUN, VERB etc... Everyone filled them in and we collected them and inserted them into the story by #. It was hysterical!!

We played the toilet paper bride, we got the FI and other groom's men, divided into teams , and the girls created wedding dresses on the guys. It was HISTERICAL, everyone loved it.
Another game we played, that was kinda fun, is we put famous peoples/cartoon character names on cards and pinned them on the back of each person as they walked in. The goal was to find out who you are, with only asking yes/no questions. It was a nice ice breaker since we didn't all know each other. And than, when the bride won.. we gave her a gift - from the bridal party ofcourse. I had candles (wedding cakes) for everyone else that won.

At my FSIL'S shower, we played a game where the bride was quizzed on questions concerning her and my brother. My brother had already supplied the answers. The guests had to make a guess out of 10 how many my FSIL would be able to answer correctly. The winner got a prize.

Yea -thats pretty much how we played it- each table was a team and got 3 rolls of TP but only had something like 3 minutes to come up with the best dress- it ws pretty funny to see the creativity. Then i took a pic with all the 'brides' and picked a winner.
Who posted that they wouldnt like it? why? everyone got into it!
