OK, I had a very small bridal shower and haven't been to many so I have a question about a gift.
DH's friend is getting married, he's in the BP and I am now friends with the fiance - not super close by an means, but friendly when we see each other
I was recently invited to the bachelorette AND bridal shower
Now, they didn't get us anything for engagement (we didn't have a party) but gave us a nice gift for the wedding
We already bought an engagement gift (they had a party) and DH is going to New Orleans for the Bahchelor Party, etc., etc.
Is $30 - $40 enough for the bridal shower gift off her registry?

Re: Bridal Shower Gift
I think that is fine. She is not a close friend so why spend more.

Yes, that seems like a fair amount to spend. You really aren't that close with her and you already got them a gift for the engagment party, I'd say you're OK. Ask FH what he thinks since he's the one in the BP and wouldn't want to offend his friend.

that is fine, maybe make it $40-$50 though, just in case

I'd agree...I'd ask FH to make sure he's OK w/ that since these people are his friends...although I'm not really sure why we bother with such stuff since we all know they're guy so they'll be fine w. whatever
but $30 is fine IMO...I usually do that for random cousins and people I'm not very close to which seems to be your situation
