Hi ladies! This sunday i will be attending my friends bridal shower. I want to give her something thats unique any ideas? I'm trying to avoid giving her any house ware stuff.

You can make some kind of a theme basket...like with baking stuff, or a whole cooking theme. Maybe some things for her honeymoon? Or even just a pampering herself kind of basket.

To be honest, I really didn't want anything off registry. You know, we were moving to a small apartment....so I was anti off registry
You could do a baking theme basket or something and buy some registry items (baking sheets, etc) as well as a cute personalized apron, cake mix, act?

Ok someone else posted this on here somewhere, maybe you could do something like this. Its a basket of candle's for the bride and she uses each one to celebrate a different milestone in life after marriage. You can find it HERE You can also add in some cute candle holders too.
Or you could get her a giftcard for a spa day, she can use either before or after the wedding.
Also, friends of mine were in a bridal party and for the bride a giftcard for the cruise they were taking for their HM. If you know where they are going or where they are staying you can always do something along those lines.

Thank you ladies! I love all of your ideasI think i might go with the honeymoon theme. I love the candle idea as well. I might just add that in along with the hanger for her wedding dress.

My SILs did the candle basket thing at my wedding, then they read out loud to everyone what each candle was and made it out to be as though they made it up and they were so clever, so the basket became about them, and not about myself and FH.
My sisters countered though... they rock... they did a basket of wine bottles with the same time of theme as the candles.
I say stick with the registry, or lingerie.

I have the best idea. I've brought it to engagement parties, birdal showers, baby showers, etc. Buy a picture frame with a plastic border. I cover the border with thick construction paper and then buy scrapbooking stickers and make it look really pretty. We did that for my future sister in law for their engagement party and also put a check in the actual spot for the photo. I wrap it in celephane and tie ribbons on both ends. It looks so pretty and everyone always loves it.

i received a basket of decorations for every single holiday from my sister! thought it was so thoughtful and unique.

Also I've seen people take a wine bottle and put white christmas lights inside of it and then decorate the outside of the bottle really pretty. Its a cute decoration for their kitchen or living room.

Finished bridal shower gift!
Here is the honeymoon basket i made for my friends bridal shower...So many great goodies. I was tempted to keep it for myself. lol. Most of the goodies came from Spencers, Victoria Secrets and Frederick's

I had a friend who loved Mexican restaurants so I made her a basket with salsa,chips tequila margarita mix & glasses etc. I gave her this along with something small of the registry and she loved it.
