The most thoughtful gift I received from my bridal shower was the 12 bride's ornaments:

I just made a basket of these ornaments for my friend who is very Italian...I think its a very thoughtful gift for anyone!!!!

You could do a trunk filled with decorations for her home of all the different seasons. Another idea, they sell sets of candles, when the couple has their first fight they light it, when they move into their house they light one and so on, very cute!
