I am inviting my coworkers to my wedding.... I work on a team of 8 poeple.. so 16 total for the wedding.. of course for the shower I would only invite the women, which would be 5 people. Is anyone inviting their coworkers to the shower? We go away to conference all the time, but outside of work we never hang out.. they are a bit older than me, and two are my bosses so Im torn.. is it rude to invite them to the wedding and not the shower?

You don't need to invite every female wedding guest to the shower. I think the general rule of thumb is that you invite the women with whom you are the closest.
I'm planning to invite work people to the wedding, but not the shower.

I'm inviting only the women whom I'm close with, family and friends. No one from work. I don't think anyone who will not be invited will really mind. It's one less thing they have to spend $$ on. JMO

I didn't invite my co-workers to the shower only because I knew of one who had a few showers and weddings so I figured I'd give 'em a break.

I invited my co-workers (who i do ocassionally hang out with outside of work and are close to my age) only to the wedding, not the shower. I have almost 300 guests invited to the wedding (including about 20 guests from europe) and I kept my shower guestlist to 65.
