Bridal Shower Help
I'm hosting a bridal shower in the near near future and am worried that I am forgetting something...Here's the 'schedule' (yes, I'm a nerd about stuff like this!)
Friday Night
Finish Favor Bags
Pack van with gifts
Take banner out of my car
9:00 AM
Give bride “Message in a Bottle”
9:30 AM
Be at Aunt’s picking up all of the decorations, gifts, favors, prizes, etc.
Bring extra paper, tape, ribbon, etc.
Aunt : Bring ribbon hat materials & stuff to make brides chair
10:30 AM
Pick up cake
11:00 AM
Helpers and I bring everything to restaurant
(U-shaped table set-up; Food tables in a line on the side; Gift table(s); Towel Cake Table w/ “Love: frame; Set-up bride's chair; Prizes Table; Favor Table; Entrance Table with Recipe Box and books)
Set up Towel cake, Love frame w/ past pics, Recipe Box, Menu cards and pens at each place setting, Centerpieces placed throughout the “U” tables, Put balloons somewhere, Hang banner
Take pics of everything before anyone arrives!
1:00 PM
Guests enter (Aunt 2: Have guests turn in recipe cards and take-out menus to you)
Appetizers & Drinks
Aunt: Arrange Gifts as they come in
Have guests write notes to bride in the Guestbook
1:15-1:30
Bride arrives
Put pin on bride
BM: Door Prize Game
2:00 PM
Food is served
Games Begin
BM: Name Game
2:45 PM
Bride opens gifts
Giveaway Game
Bridal Bingo
BM: Writes list of what she receives
MOH: Pictures
Aunt: Bow Bouquet
Aunt 2: Arrange dessert table (shouldn’t be necessary if we get it done in the
beginning)
4:00 PM
Begin eating Dessert
Aunt 2: Pass address book around and have guests put their contact info inside
BM: Purse Treasure Hunt
BM Power Pop (make sure little kids get the winning balloons!)
4:45 PM
Aunt 2: Distribute favors
MOH: Take pics of each guest with bride
5:00 PM
Clean Up
AM I FORGETTING ANYTHING??? I'M PRETTY WORRIED THAT I'M MISSING SOMETHING AND I WANT IT TO BE THE BEST IT CAN BE SINCE THIS IS FOR MY ONLY SISTER!! TIA
