Bridal Shower Help! PLEASE!

Bridal Shower Help! PLEASE!

Hey everyone! I have my cousins bridal shower this weekend and I was first wondering if anyone knew where I can find or has directions to make a towel cake.

Also, does anyone have any other good ideas? I don't just want to buy a gift she registered for.

Did anyone get something at their shower they weren't expecting but ended up being really useful?

TIA!

hmm, i dont have directions for a towel cake, but you can google them- sorry im not helpful...

as far as getting a gift outside the registry, i really cant think of anything other than lingerie maybe?
how about toasting flutes or her cake server if she doesnt have them yet...?

ooooooooooooor find out her honeymoon plans and pay for an excursion or massage...that would be nice...

Hello there.

I gotta say, I know you are trying to be unique, but I, personally, really hope no one buys stuff off of my registry. There are SOO many things on there that I want and I worry that people will buy me stuff that I dont and wont give me a gift receipt.

But, you know your friend better than I do, if she would appreciate crafty stuff go for it... Im just giving a different point of view.

I really really really want my registry stuff and Im not into knick-knacks or crafty stuff. just my two cents.

Re: Bridal Shower Help! PLEASE!

I saw this at a Bridal Shower once and thought it was really cute...Someone got a basket and filled it with different bottles of wine (I think it was 5 or 6). Then made labels to go over the wine bottles and wrote,
'Here's to your first month of marriage',
'Here's to your first fight...and makeup',
'Here's to your first vacation'...
It was basically a toast to all the firsts they would be sharing as a married couple.
I guess this would only work if the couple actually drinks wine...
