Bridal Shower HELP..Please

Bridal Shower HELP..Please

My sister asked me to ask you ladies some Bridal Shower games. It's for her friends shower. My sister personally said she would rather 'poke her eyes out' but her friend wants them.

She is doing Bingo but she wants more.....

Thanks

What about that poem, that the bridesmaids read and give the bride a cleaning item (wrapped) and she has to guess what it is.
Ex - Your husband may not always be _____.
answer :Mr. Clean

For my friends shower we played the 'left-right' game. I wrote a story about how she and her husband met and through in a lot of 'left-rights.' EX) He opened the door and there she was 'right' in front of him. He couldn't believe he had 'left' her present at home.
You have one prize per table and they pass it around. Whoever winds up with it is the winner.

Two more ideas -
How well does the bride know the groom. Interview someone in his family and ask her questions. Each question she gets wrong she has to put a piece of gum in her mouth... My sister - in - law almost puked!

'pin the macho on the man' You have to have a fun crowd to play that. Some woman can get up tight. But you have to blind fold different guests and its basically like 'pin the tail on the donkey' Whoever gets closest wins a prize.. You can order it online...

Here are a few game suggestions:

Recipe for Romance

Materials
Pen and Paper for each guest
Hat or Bowl

How To Play
* Have each guest write down what they think the perfect 'recipe' is for keeping romance alive in a marriage. Don't have them sign the paper.

* Drop all the recipes into a hat or large bowl. Have one person read all the recipes aloud while the other guests try to guess who wrote which recipe!

* Guest who has guessed the most correct authors wins a prize.

My, How You've Grown!

Materials
5-10 old photos of the bride-to-be, ranging from childhood up through pictures with her fiance.

How To Play
* Pass around photos, one at a time, and have each guest make a guess as to which year the photo was taken. The guest who comes closest to guessing the correct year for each photo wins a prize.

Hand Over Your Corsage!

Materials
One corsage for each guest

How To Play
* When each guest arrives, pin on them a flower corsage.
* Instruct each guest that no one is allowed for the duration of the shower to say the word 'wedding'. Anyone catching someone using the forbidden word gets to take their corsage and pin it on themselves.
* The guest wearing the most corsages at the end of the shower wins a prize.

(Maybe you could use something else instead of corsages like beaded necklaces)

HTH!

We did the toilet paper bride and it was the best part of the shower. Break everyone up into teams of 4-5 people. Give everyone a few rolls of toilet paper. Each team should pick one person to be their 'model'. They have 10 minutes to make their model a wedding gown out of toilet paper only. At the end, the bride chooses the best one.

At my sister's shower, my grandmother was one of the 'models'. We had a fruit platter...well, the team decided to start adding fruit in a turban to her gown. It was hilarious...everyone was dying.

My MOH asked my FH 28 questions. They started off like 'Where was your first date?', 'What is FH's favorite color?' then they went into the absurd like 'What is FH's favorite antibiotic?' (I knew this for some reson) and 'What is your FH's Favorite toe?'. For each question that I got wrong I had to put a piece of gum in my mouth. Well, out of 28 questions I got 10 right. It was a fun game!!

I bought this game board tux that you hang on the wall- ( in denver @ a party store)

ANyway you put a pic of the groom where the face is ( or a celebrity)

Blindfold each girl one by one and spin

The game came with 'lips' that were stickers

The person closest to the face wins!

Like pin the tail on tje donkey but updated to the occasion.

I am sure that you can make one. We ran out of time @ the shower but are doing it @ my friends bbq.
