bridal shower ideas/help/must haves

im in the process of planning a bridal shower and havent even ever been to one - so im pretty much clueless..

what are some 'must haves' at a shower? ive gotten some great ideas from pics you gals have posted.

what would you want at your shower?

TIA girls, i want to make this shower the best one ever!

I love the trivia game that is like the newlyweds game where you ask the FH questions first and then she asks to guess the answers! You can also play a twist where you ask the party goers to answer questions about the couple.

have all the bp go out and buy either an 8x8 page or a 10x10 and make a scrapbook. Each member makes a page. YOu can include FH, MOB, MOG, Grandmas anyone.. also add any cute things people write/create for her.. its an adorable idea and a great keepsake

I am not a fan of the the tolite paper dress game

I love when there are the candy baskets,, or the candle basket,, cleaning product basket when you read the poems that go with them...

I love when brides open the presents there

I like when they do the bubble gum game and ask the bride questions about the groom and she has to answer and say the right answer if not.. and she is wrong, there is another piece of gum to eat

I also like having the games played while the bride is opening the gifts, that way the guests are occupied and it's not just 1hr of watching someone open presents

There are plenty of different games out there, word searches, pocketbook scavenger hunt, bridal bingo, to get you started

for one friends shower i sent a recipe card with each invitation and told the guests to bring it filled out with their favorite recipe. At the shower i had a recipe box and it was filled! Even those that couldn't attend sent the card to me filled out, which i thought was really nice. Also at another shower i bought a really nice address book and everyone passed it around and filled out their name and address.

i love the candle basket, and the chewing gum for every question the bride gets wrong about her FH..i love the idea of a wine wishing well..def play bingo while opening gifts... i love the idea that someone said above about the scrapbook..and def get lingerie!

For my shower I would like the scrapbook, that is a nice touch. I also went to a shower that had lingerie hanging from a clothes line with titles. Sexy Saturday, magical Monday and the attire matched the name

I did a scrapbook for my best friend. I asked in the invite to bring pictures of them with her. Then I had everyone sign it. It was a big hit.

Make a list of random things and not so random things, and who ever has the most things on the list gets a prize.

I always loved the towel cake, playing bingo, the lingerie clothing line, the ironing board lady, AND theme baskets...like one basket filled with kitchen towels and decorations for holidays...stuff like that...

one of my fv parts at my shower was, i didnt get a silly hat, my girls took 3 paper plates and made like a bathing suit out of it, with all the ribbons and stuff it was adorable

i also LOVE games,

anthoner thing that my shower whih i thought was cute, my mom got a clothes line and put a whole bunch of lingerie and boxers for the dh and put them in a clothes basket then when i opened it and started pulling it they showed everything she put on there, it was adorable

Whishing well is good. And for my sisters I am filling baskets with Holiday stuff. She loves to decorate for the holidays so I figured I would do a basket for each major holiday. And put decorations and hand towels in them and candels and other stuff. I got moslty everythign from Oriental trading. Also you can play games.
