I think my bm put where I was registered on the invite but I dont think it matters I received them both ways

you can do either or. I think my mom had it printed on the invite.

whatever your preference is..either way is fine..just putting the store inserts they give you might be easier

doesn't really matter to me but i just received a shower invite with it printed on the invite 'registered at macys & bed bath & beyond'
ive never seen it like that before and thought that was nice and neat...less things in the envelope & less little papers for the guests to keep track of
