do i send out shower invites to people who live in new jersey, pennsylvania, north carolina, florida, california, etc?

I would send them, even tho you dont think theyll come....its a courtesy and you may get a gift even if they dont show

My family usually sends them to everyone invited to the wedding, regardless of distance. Those who can't go usually send a gift anyway.

I know mine were sent to OOT people - If they know you're getting married, I would think they kind of expect it, even if they can't make it, and yes, maybe they'll send a small gift anyway! It can't hurt

My Mom and I argued over this, she refuses to send to anyone OOT, so that cut the list in half, plus even people that are older she's like its not fair to them. I do know what she means but at the same time, I'm like than why the hell did I register at 4 places! for 25 ppl to maybe come?
