Bridal Shower Location- Fondue Lounge or Victorian Tea Room

Hey Ladies!

I need some help... does anyone know of /or could recommend a place in either Long Island or Queens that either has/ or specializes in either fondues or victorian themed tea parties?

I like both ideas and would do either.

I am looking for something like this for fondue: www.dipnyc.com (unfortunately it's in manhattan and it's too much of a hassle for everyone)

I just experienced my first 'tea party' in cape may which was really a lot of fun. I'm considering this idea too. www.capemaymac.org/tearoom/twinings_tearoom.htm (this place is in Jersey, tooooooo far, but really nice and great food)

So if anybody knows of anything comparable to either of these two places, but closer to home... that would be amazing!!!

Thanks!

I know there is a place called Toast in Port Jeff that does that. As for a tea party, maybe Milk and Sugar Cafe in Bayshore? They have fondue there as well.

Toast in Port Jeff or Sweetwaters in Happauge offers Fondue. I second tea at Milk & Sugar Cafe! It's really cute!

I am looking to do a tea party shower as well! I have checked out Mae Brownes in Huntington, the Main Maid Inn, and the Millerridge Inn. I liked Mae Brownes, Main Maid was not my style, and really liked the Millerridge, but it was more money than I would like to spend. I have not ruled it out, but I am still looking. Carlyle on the Green offers a tea party, but it starts at $65 a person - way out of my shower budget! Let me know if you come up with any ideas please! Good luck!
