Bridal Shower Locations
So my sister had her shower at the Stewart Manor Country Club, and we are still thinking of doing the same for mine because we know the owner and he offered a great price. However, my mom wanted to be a little different this time around and doesn't want to have everyone go back to the same place. So, does anyone have recommendations? We are expecting around 70 people at the shower and do not want to go to a typical restaurant... the one thing i hate the most about showers is when the restaurants serve you a 4 course meal and the bride doesn't do gifts until like 3 hours in! So, we were thinking of more of like a 'tea party' shower with champagne punch, sangria, salads and sandwiches in sort of a buffet style, so that things move a little quicker. Also, somewhere in Nassau County is preferred! We are right on the Nassau/Queens border, so the Garden City, Floral Park area is perfect!

My mom hosted a brunch shower for me at Novita in Garden City. We opted for the buffet which included great salads and sandwiches in addition to some breakfast items. They had an awesome champagne punch as well as bellinis. We loved it and highly recommend! I also went to a brunch shower at waterzooi which is located a couple of doors down earlier this year and that was good as well.

My bridal shower was at Milk & Sugar! It was wonderful! It was a Sunday afternoon, I'm which they set aside Sundays do private parties only-so you hav the whole place to yourself and it was exactly what you are looking for; little sandwiches, wraps, appetizers, omelette making station and champagne punch. The food was great, the atmosphere was home-y... It was perfect. It's located in Bayshore, but I had a lot of relatives from Nassau comment on how close it was! Hope that helps!

We must live right near each other! Ha. There is a place on Tulip called Swing the Teapot, I'm just not entirely sure how many people it would be able to hold. I've eaten there before and it's very good, I'm just not sure if it has a back room but I think it does. Definitely worth a shot!

This!! I just went to a baby shower there and the food was really good. I live in Nassau and took about 40 minutes to get there from Mineola.
Hmm for Nassau County my friend had hers at Pappa Razzi in Westbury.

Of the ones you went to, were they all sit down courses or did any of them do a buffet type thing? and that is right by my house so that would be perfect!

Thanks everyone! Definitely going to tell my mom to check out novita (it's one of my favorite restaurants but never thought of it for a shower!) and the 7th street cafe... Been to swing the teapot before and it's great but I think it may be too small =/
