I am planning to throw a bridal shower for my friend and I need to do it in less than a month...
She is getting married in April and her mom asked me to help her because her maid of honor had a death in her family and out of respect she is stepping down and her mom has asked me to help her with the planning...
I live in the Forest Hills area but the majority of the people live out closer to Astoria LIC...
Actually ANYWHERE in Queens that can accomadate like 40 people for around $50...
Please help....
I have no idea how to do this and also....
Also is it tacky that because I am getting married in June and she asked me to be in her party and to be so involved that I HAVE to ask her and her sisters to be in mine...
It would be ok but I already have 7 bridesmaids and 2 MOH and we already ordered dresses..

try alberto's, portofinos, la terrazza. someone actually had a shower at Garcia's on austin and it looked totally fun.

caffe on the green is in bayside, its real nice
douglaston manor-not far from either place
cavo in astoria is gorgeous-very different type of venue
island also in astoria-same thing, not a typical venue but gorgeous
Ammos-in astoria, another more unique type restaurant
waterfront crabhouse-LIC
Carosello's-Howard beach
roma view-Howard Beach
russo's on the bay-howard beach
watersedge in LIC-not sure what the price would be for this, for shower might not be bad though

I'm doing mine at Mezzo Mezzo in Astoria and it's just a little over $50 with tax and tips!!!
My other choices were Laterna in Bayside or Zodiac in Astoria.
