Re: bridal shower. need favor help...
I happen to love those glass coasters floating around. Other than that, I tend to prefer edible favors. Most of the stuff I receive as wedding / shower favors I either already have or don't really need / want.

I received an ice cream scoop at the last shower i went to. I thought that was a cute idea. The coaster I love also.

the last bridal showers i went to i got a yankee 'wedding day' candle (personalized w/shower date) and a silver ice cream scoop.....there are TONS of ideas out there....if you are doing a ladies only shower you could do those personal mirrors, bath salts, or soaps.....tea infusers... theres a lot out there.

It seems you made up your mind, but I think a cute shower favor is a travel-size shower gel (or other bath product - I think bath and body is having their sale now - you could prob get their bar soaps real cheap) with a label that says 'From Jane's shower to yours..' Just an idea.

Re: bridal shower. need favor help...
my mom's coworker thought up the favor for my shower. She bought kitchen dish towels ...took each one, and folded it so that the sides fanned , and tied a ribbon around the center. Then they gave a chocolate bar with it. It was something edible, and also something each woman could use in her kitchen.
