Bridal shower outfit...dress or not??

I am pretty sure my shower is this weekend....almost positive. So I went shopping this past weekend all over and could not find a cute dress...especially bc the weather and in between seasons almost. I dont want to wear to springy or summer dress obvi bc I mean theres still snow on the ground and its freezing out!!!

I did find a few pencil skirts and nice tops from express....do you think that would look nice or should I still look for a simple dress??? I mean its my day so I want to stand out more too. I really wish it was in april!!!
