for all the presents you got at the bridal shower... do you have to wait until after the wedding to use them???? i think its silly, but thats just me. HAHA but really, what is everyone's thoughts?

Certain things I am going to hold off on using (like our bedding) until after the wedding.. That is mostly because we need to buy a bigger bed though.. Gifts I have received like my cookbook, spice rack, etc I have already used and I didn't even have my shower yet!

we didn't use anything from the shower until after the wedding. i rationalized that we could use our engagement gifts since it was for our engagement rather than our marriage!!

We are waiting to use some stuff but are using others. We have been living together for over 2 years and I have been on my own since 1996 so we have alot and are saving the new stuff til we move in a house but stuff we dont have we are using

Ya know, it's funny, I didn't realize, but I really haven't used anything we got for the engagement gifts - even my new pot holders and oven mits! I think I want everything to be new when we get back from the Honeymoon.
But, if I were craving waffles, I'd probably use it!

We just bought our house, so once our kitchen is done I am loading it with the stuff from the e-party, there is no sense loading the kitchen twice and having to go through stuff twice. I am just getting rid of the old and welcoming in the new.
As for the shower, if its something I need right now and don't have i will use it, otherwise I will wait.

FH and i just moved in together and we're using everything we got from our engagement party, even new bedding!
