Bridal Shower Prices??

Are there any reasonable places out there that are under $900 for a Bridal Shower??

I live in Shirley. I am not supposed to know about these things..but I do. I don't want my sister paying well over $1000 for the shower when we can have it in someone's house! I would love a nice little restaurant but if it's gonna be expensive I don't want her doing it!!!! Not to mention there is a bachorlette party too that is being planned!!

how many people are you inviting? I'm a Queens girl so I'm not familiar with Suffolk- but is there any place you can rent out a room (VFW hall ?) and have it catered in- it would be cheaper- I know the pizzeria by me has a price fixe for brunches and a private room and so does the diner by my house, try places like that

i told my mom i wanted mine at ***'s steakhouse in stony brook.. the price is good n i got a lot of positive feedback from the liw girlies

Which steakhouse? How reasonable? I am having about 25 people at mine..I just think it's going to be a little more expensive than my sister thought it was going to be!

I think it was j & r's that she mentioned previously...they did open a new one in Medford...
