bridal shower question

This may be a stupid question.

My friends are throwing me a bridal shower.
For the thank you cards, am I supposed to thank them myself or is the thank you from me and my fiance?

I want to get personalized thank you cards. So I dont know to put my name alone on the card or mine and his.

While I didn't get personalized thank you's (great idea by the way), I did sign thank you from both of us. Most of the gifts were things that we could both use (pots, pans, towels, etc) so I thought it was appropriate people knew he was thankful too! Even the people who gave things that were more tailored to me I wrote 'he love(d) it too.'
This is the beginning of a life as 'we' so I say start embracing it now!

I would say from both of you, they are giving you gifts for your new life TOGETHER, so that makes sense right?

Even if they said 'this is specially for you' i would still just send the thank you with both of your names. Just getting a thank you alone will be fine, i am sure they aren't going to mind that it has his name on it too.

I would say both of you!!! Since the gift is for both not one!!! Unless it's some sexy lingerire!! But wait..that is for your FH too!!!!...LMAO!

i would sign them from both of us buy ours isn't for another year so i'll probally forget i answered this and be asking myself next april LOL

For our engagement party, I ordered personalized stationery with both of our names on it, and we both signed our names to the cards.

For the bridal shower, I ordered personalized stationery with just my name on it, and only signed my name to the cards.

I hadn't thought about this! I'll probably wind up writing both of our names.

You could also look how the person addresses the card. I usually write both the bride and grooms name on the shower card, b/c like others have said, the gift is for both of you.

I totally did not even think about this and signed my name only....but I did refer to US using the gifts in most of the messages.....so I hope it's ok to just sign your own name!
