Bridal shower Question
I already told my MOH that i don't want to be surprised with my bridal shower because i am really not into surprises like that. In fact, i had mentioned that perhaps we can use a community room next to my apartment building which has a waterview and it is sitting on a pier. Nice size room that can commodate about 150 people, flat screen tv, pool table and chairs, gigantic ktichen area. There isn't any rental fee because i am a resident in the building. There is just a $250 refundable security deposit. However, she wanted to do something special and she said she will get back to me.
So I spoke to her yesterday evening, and she said her and her mom wanted to do a bridal shower in a nail salon. They are still looking to find a nail salon they can rent out for a couple of hours and have nail technicians do our nails doing the bridal shower. I thought it was a fantastic idea but she said they can only afford 10 to 15 people. That means that i can't invite anyone else besides the immediate family and close friends. I spoke to FH about this and he said he thought that the community room would be better so that way everyone can come. I am now stuck on whether the MOH idea should be a bridal shower or something separate like a get-together with just a few females. What do you think?
