Should a bridal shower be sit down or buffet? Does it matter?

Bridal Showers are not that formal...so it doest really matter its what you prefer and can afford

My bm's & mom are keeping me in the dark I hate surprises, sorry

Denise's this past March was a buffet, which I liked because I revisited the food like a good old friend from high school I just reunited with

My aunt's shower, that I through last Spring was a sit down & for her worked good because it was 81 women, that wouldve been a lot of ladies walking around a buffet

either was i think is fine, i perfer buffet that way if people are still hungry they can always go and get more food

i kinda like buffet simply because it gets people mingling while on line, makes people more chatty than sitting in the same seat the whole time, talking only to the people near you....etc..

i like brunch buffets for showers - but i have no clue what they are doing for mine - i think because i want and expect a brunch type thing they may do something different to try and throw me off but i think either is fine
