Bridal Shower Question (New Home!)

So this is a double exciting time in our lives. My FH and I are under contract for a new place in our co-op so we can have more space. Going from a 1 BR 1 Bath to a 2 BR 2 Bath! Yay!

We are moving in April, so planning the Bridal Shower in May so that we can use that as a way of getting some gifts for the new place.

Anyone know of a few creative ways to maybe word it on the invitation that we bought a new home and would love for everyone to not only celebrate the bridal shower, but our new home?

Also, I'm so nervous about those few select people who don't shop off the registry. We had about 6 people out of 100 from our engagement party who didn't go on the registry and gave us items we probably have little to no use for. Any way to specifically encourage registry gifts/gift cards only?

Bridal Shower Question (New Home!) - Long Island Weddings

honestly I personally do not think you should word that you also want to celebrate a new home. Because technically, a bridal shower is meant to be for gifting you things for living together anyway. You can always register at homedepot as well as other stores. Macy's has the dream fund as well which is basically a giant gift card that everyone contributes to

99% of the people that attend your shower will get you gift cards or gifts off your registry though
